Hello, and thank you so much for visiting The Shaker Tape Company!

We are the Hansen/Paquette Family and we recently acquired the tape business from Shaker Workshops. We are excited to serve its customers, and everyone else looking for high quality Shaker Tape. Shaker Workshops had a long history of providing historically accurate Shaker products and we will continue offering the same quality tape for chair makers, weavers, artists and hobbyists alike. 

Our family has a rich history in woodworking, fiber arts, design, and working with our hands so we know this next journey is a perfect fit for us. We are a small business, in a small town in New Hampshire, and we will strive to provide excellent customer service and high quality products.

Our sister company, The Tappan Chair Company, has been making Shaker style chairs for over 200 years. The Tappan Chair Company will continue the tradition of Tappan Chairs, as well as making other recognizable Shaker style pieces, by hand, with traditional tools, with the highest quality wood and tape!
